DW Simpson is pleased to introduce Aisha Ali to our network. Aisha is an Operations Assistant at DW Simpson, and in her role she is responsible for database management and assisting recruiters with administrative and tech duties. Aisha is also working with several team members on projects pertaining to marketing and branding. A graduate of Loyola University, with a degree in marketing, Aisha enjoys capturing the beauty of Chicago through her camera lens and finding new places to eat in the city.
What do you like to do for fun?
One thing I like to do to wind down from my workday is coloring. I’ve been really into adult coloring books. I also like to read and the current book that I’m reading is The Alchemist. It’s one of my favorite books and I feel like every time I read it, I learn something new about myself. I try to read it every couple of years.
Where did you go to school?
I went to Loyola University Chicago where I got my bachelor’s degree in marketing. During my time there I was a part of a sorority (Alpha Delta Pi) where I did a lot of charity work, including volunteering at Ronald McDonald House where I would do activities with the kids and family. I was also a part of the art club at Loyola and loved attending basketball games.
What do you like about your job at DWS?
Some things I like about my job on the support team are being able to help recruiters and the fact that I always learn something new. There are some days where I will be presented with a problem I’ve never had before, and I must learn how to fix it. Being on the support team has also taught me new things about recruiting, so that’s fun!

I love how small but mighty the DWS company is. By my first day, I could tell I would enjoy working here because of how driven everyone is. It’s a team of very passionate people looking to help candidates land their dream job. Everyone at DWS supports one another in attaining their career goals.
