Job Seeker FAQs

DW Simpson recruiters will walk you through the entire hiring process: pre-interview/getting to know you, the interview process, and negotiations with your potential future employer. We work with you as your career counselor to ascertain your professional goals, and we keep you informed of all positions available that fit your background and your interests. We will provide you with overall market knowledge, prepare you for each interview, and coordinate and set up interview times and places/platforms to most efficiently and effectively execute your interviews. We will be the mediator in providing feedback regarding your interviews to both you and the client, and we will negotiate on your behalf given your expectations and the client’s budgetary capacities. This approach leads to a win-win for both you and your future employer.

Candidates have one DW Simpson team as a point of contact which fosters familiarity and continuity. Through that regular contact we get to know details about what is important to you, what types of career paths you might be interested in exploring, and generally get to know you and serve as a career resource to you. Whether you are interested in future career prospects or seeking a new position more immediately, you will benefit from our client company reach and knowledge of the job market. Most importantly, we have direct access to hiring managers and HR managers who are actually doing the recruiting and hiring. We promote your candidacy to the decision makers, you will not get lost in an online application process.

The recruiter will ask questions designed to ensure both you and the employer will be happy with the match.

Your recruiter will keep you updated throughout the process, but feel free to call or email them directly if you have questions.
Not every job is going to meet the expectations you have. If you are not interested in a position you are free to decline. We will continue to offer positions to you based on your skills and preferences.
