DW Simpson would like to take this opportunity to introduce Phylicia Davidson, a new actuarial recruiter working with Marianne Westphal. Phylicia joined DW Simpson in the spring of 2022 and assists with recruitment and placement of actuaries and analytic professionals, from new graduates to Chief Actuaries. She brings a variety of skills to her role at DW Simpson including experience in customer and employee service, client relationship management, project management and administrative support.
Phylicia holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University, an MBA from Colorado Tech University, and a Master’s in Project Management from Keller School of Management. She is fluent in American Sign Language and has a passion for cooking and event planning. Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, bowling, and visiting the zoo with her twins and husband.
In her time with DW Simpson Phylicia has been enjoying working with candidates on the full cycle of recruiting. She is very motivated to learn more about the insurance industry and to assist candidates in achieving their career goals. She also appreciates the family atmosphere at DWS, and the opportunity to work as a team to help actuarial candidates and to support diversity initiatives in the actuarial community.
