Life Actuary (Maryland #48726)



Northeast Life insurer has a great opportunity for a FSA with 10 years of experience including 5 years working in a valuation/financial reporting role. The ideal candidate would have strong understanding of life insurance products and the related risks, technical knowledge across multiple reporting bases (Statutory, GAAP, IFRS), and prior experience leading a team. Candidate must be highly motivated, possess strong communication & time management skills, and have the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines. California Life insurer is in search for a FSA with 8+ years of actuarial experience including 3+ years of life insurance product development. The ideal individual would have the ability to lead multiple projects and meet tight deadline, possess strong research/analytic capability, and have excellent communication. Strong knowledge in tax, PBR, GAAP, VNB a plus. A background in product design and experience with actuarial software ALFA, and analytics packages R, Python preferred. (#48705)
