Well known Health insurance company has a great opportunity in either Illinois or Texas for a Data Scientist with at least 3 years of experience in data analysis and relational-style query languages; machine learning, statistical modeling and data visualization. A background in healthcare data, including Medicare experience is preferred. High-level programming, SAS, SQL are required as well as proficiency with Microsoft applications including Access, Excel, Word and Power Point. Masters, PHD, or Actuarial designation are a plus. An international firm located in Florida has multiple opening for actuarial candidates with experience in healthcare. These individuals should have 3-5 years of relevant experience and have achieved ASA/FSA designation. A background in client management and Medicare Advantage, Part D, and Individual and Small Group rate filings is preferred. Programming in SAS, R is required. Master’s degree is a plus. (#48346)

This individual should be highly motivated and have knowledge of all aspects of healthcare actuarial practice, including pricing, reserving, and forecasting. Director of Medical Economics (#48267)

Growing, data-driven, national health care provider seeks a business savvy analytics professional to innovate and help grow their analytics function. This is a truly exciting opportunity for someone with deep, cross-functional experience in traditional actuarial work, econometrics, and/or data science. Compensation could be as high as $250,000 for a candidate who can supervise at the same time as getting their hands dirty. This is potentially a remote or work-from-home opportunity.

Our Michigan client is seeking a FSA/FCAS with 8+ years’ experience, including Medicare Advantage. This individual would have advanced knowledge of actuarial principles and practices, including reinsurance, reserving and ratemaking, financial reporting, underwriting and marketing guidelines and claims practices. Must be able to independently lead advanced actuarial and statistical analysis. Expert user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Igloo or R is a plus. (#48243)

Senior Actuary (Michigan #48242)

Midwestern insurance company is searching for an ASA/ACAS or FSA/FCAS with over 3 years of experience, including Medicare Advantage. One year of leadership experience is required and must be able to advise senior management. Ideal candidates would have advance knowledge of actuarial principles including reinsurance, reserving and ratemaking, financial reporting, underwriting and claims practices. Must have excellent communication and be able to discuss concepts with non-actuaries. Expert user of Excel, Access, and preferably ResQ. (#48242)

Washington Healthcare client is looking for an ASA or student actuary with at least 4 exams completed and 4 years of actuarial experience. This individual would be participating in product line evaluations by conducting analysis of product line financials, pricing, reserve, valuation, cash flow analysis, etc. At least 1 year of leadership experience is required. Senior Manager, Health (Florida #48194)

A well-known Healthcare company is in search of a Senior Manager who can be either a student actuary, ASA or Non-actuary with a Bachelors’ degree in healthcare administration, business administration, marketing or related field. This candidate should have 6+ years of contracting experience or provider relations in a healthcare or managed care environment. Quality traits include knowledge of contracting language and the principles of negotiation. Must be familiar with managed care, State and/or Federal health care programs. (#48194)
