Actuarial Analyst, P&C (California #49511)



West coast client has a great opportunity for a student actuary with at least 1 year of experience and 2 actuarial exams completed. This individual should have strong proficiency in Excel as well as programming experience with R, SAS, SQL or Python. Must be a team player, quick learner, and have excellent communication skills. Ratemaking and/or state regulatory filing experience is a plus. Predictive modeling background preferred. (#49511)




Growing client in the Southeast is seeking a talented student actuary or new ASA with 2-3 years of actuarial experience including Medicare Advantage pricing. This individual must be well organized, able to handle multiple projects and deadlines, and have a strong attention to detail. Technical skills in Excel, Word, and SAS are required. Proficiency in statistical programming languages (VBA, R, SQL, Python) is preferred. Salary $90K-$100K. (#49510)

This self-motivated individual must be able to work both independently and in a team environment, have a strong understanding of the US healthcare system, and have some knowledge of SAS, SQL, or R. The ideal candidate would have a background with life, annuity, and/or health insurance products, strong insurance pricing experience, and excellent problem-solving skills. Healthcare provider in New York is seeking a self-motivated ASA or FSA with at least 6 years of actuarial experience including 3 years experience with healthcare plan reporting. The ideal candidate would be highly detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to lead projects/people as well as work well both independently and in teams. Excellent communication, time management, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must. Must have superior Excel skills and some knowledge of SAS, SQL.
