P&C insurance provider has a wonderful opportunity in either its Colorado or Illinois office for a student actuary or recent ACAS with at least 3 exams completed and 3+ years of pricing actuarial experience in multiple lines of insurance. Candidate must possess strong communication, the ability to work in a team environment, and experience with at least one coding language (SQL, R, Python, SAS, VBA). Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, familiarity with R and SQL is preferred. Rate filing and predictive modeling experience is a plus. The ideal individual would possess extensive knowledge of commercially available catastrophe models, complex insurance and reinsurance structures, and a good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
