Director & Actuary, Life (Virginia #48093)

Nationally known insurance company is seeking a student actuary, ASA or FSA with at least 5+ years of experience including model building in SAS, AXIS, MATLAB, etc. Candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to meet project deadlines, and manage multiple priorities. Must also be able to support actuarial pricing with Long Term Care insurance. Excel, VBA, Access and Word needed. Virginia insurer is seeking an ASA or FSA with 7 years of experience to lead the LTC modeling team. The ideal candidate would be a strong leader, be able to work with others, and programming experience, especially SAS, Python, Visual Basic, SQL, and/or MATLAB. Candidate must also be proficient in GAAP, Statutory and Tax financial reporting as well as AXIS Software including Datalink. (#48092)

Our international client in Switzerland is looking for a FSA, SAV, or FIA with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a consulting environment or insurance industry. Candidate must be fluent in German and English, possess strong MS Office skills, and have in-depth knowledge of IFRS 17. (#48091)

Rapidly growing insurer is seeking an ASA or FSA with 6+ years of actuarial experience including financial reporting, ALM. or risk role annuity. The ideal candidate would have a background with cash flow testing and embedded value as well as proficiency in ALFA. (#48088)

National firm is looking to find a Senior Associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience with an ASA or near ASA designation preferred. The ideal candidate would have a consulting background, strong understanding of Life insurance products, and experience with GGY AXIS. Must be familiar with GAAP, STAT, and financial reporting as well have strong modeling skills. Travel is required. Locations available in Illinois, New York, Georgia, Pennsylvania, or Connecticut. FSA is needed in either Vermont or Texas location with at least 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting. This individual should be capable of producing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of reserves – Statutory, GAAP, and Tax. Illinois insurer is looking to grow its analytics team with a Data Scientist who has at least 3 years of experience and is proficient in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling. Candidate should also be proficient in high-level programming languages, data visualization, and have an understanding of healthcare. Must be highly skills in all Microsoft applications including Access, Excel, Word and Power Point. Actuarial designation, Masters or Ph.D. preferred. (#48068)

California insurer is in search of a student actuary or ASA with 4+ years of experience, ideally in Long Term Care. This individual should have strong communication, the ability to handle multiple projects, and good understanding of pricing. Product design experience and working with Life products is ideal.
