Senior Analyst Earthquake (India #48560)

One of our global partners is seeking a Senior Analyst with 4+ years of relevant experience, including a PhD in the field of Earthquake Engineering / Structural Engineering / Geophysics or a field which is closely related. This individual will work in projects oriented in geological hazards (e.g., earthquake shake, liquefaction, Tsunami) modeling and advising underwriters/client managers on various geological hazard related topics globally. Must be a strong programmer, highly proficient in GIS, and experienced in and probabilistic loss modeling. (#48560)

Globally known client is in search of a well experience Natural Catastrophe Flood Specialist with an advanced degree (PhD) in the field of Water Resources Engineering, Hydrology, or Computer science. This individual must be able to lead and contribute to various projects oriented in flood/weather perils. Must have strong programming experience, proficiency with Matlab and GIS, and excellent communication. Experience in rainfall-runoff and probabilistic flood loss modeling a plus. (#48559)

Well known international client is in search of a Natural Catastrophe Specialist (Atmospheric Perils) with a PhD and 4+ years of relevant industrial experience and strong academic record for their natural catastrophe modeling team. This individual must possess strong programing skills including Matlab, the ability to manipulate large datasets with GIS, and a background in probabilistic loss modeling. Strong motivation to learn about re/insurance is essential. (#48558)

Well known consulting client is in search of an ACAS or FCAS with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience for the manager role or 8+ for the director role. This individual should have strong communication and business development skills. A background in international financial reporting standards and predictive modeling is ideal. Must be comfortable in a leadership position. Prior consulting experience is preferred. Travel may be up to 80-100%. Manager- $110K-$225K, Director- $190K-$330K (#48553)

The ideal candidate would be a critical thinker, possess excellent communication skills, and be knowledgeable with statistical models and methods including experience with GLMs. Proficiency in SQL, Excel, R or Python, Tableau preferred. This individual will lead the actuarial pricing team and oversee all pricing related activities of the department. Casualty insurer is seeking a Product Manager with at least 8 years of experience. This individual must possess strong leadership qualities, dynamic communication, and experience identifying and delivering holistic solutions through multiyear state strategic roadmaps. Proven analytical strength and problem-solving capabilities are required. Location can be in Illinois, Oregon, Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Georgia. (#48418)

West Coast Insurer seeks ACAS with 5+ years of experience in actuarial reserving, pricing or financial modeling; preferably with some workers’ compensation experience.  Must be proficient in Excel, SAS and other data visualization techniques, along with strong oral and written communication skills.  Must be able to dive into a variety of projects, including pricing, reserving and capital modeling.  Our client is also willing to consider exceptional student actuaries with 4+ exams and 3+ years of experience.  (#48414)

Well known Canadian client is seeking an ACAS/FCAS with at least 7 years of experience for aCorporate Actuarial Project Manager position. This individual must be able to work under pressure, possess strong communication, and have extraordinary analytical and project management skills. Candidate would be joining a team responsible for the valuation of policy liabilities as well as providing support to key stakeholders on a variety of topics. Must be bilingual in English and French. Well-established national P&C Carrier is looking for a Student Actuary with at least 2 years' experience in the industry. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a solid background or exposure to Excel, SAS, SQL, Access, and/or VBA. This is a great opportunity to work closely with other departments and gain exposure to other parts of the business. Compensation will depend on experience, starting around 70-80k plus bonus.
