Well established insurance firm is seeking a talented student actuary, ACAS or Data Scientist with 5+ years of insurance-related statistical/predictive modeling experience. The ideal individual would have prior experience with building models, machine learning, data visualization, and presenting & explaining data and analytics to business partners. Strong project management skills, effective communication, and experience analyzing large data sets using statistical software, such as R, SAS, Python, and SPSS is key. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL programming is required. CSPA/iCAS designation is desired. (#49551)

Growing reinsurance client in Bermuda is in search for a highly analytical student actuary or cat modeler with strong AIR or RMS experience. The ideal individual would be self-motivated, able to work effectively in a small team environment, and have at least 1 year of experience with a global insurer/reinsurer, in the areas of cat modelling, underwriting or reinsurance operations. The ideal individual would possess 8+ years of actuarial experience including the ability to perform reserving analysis with no supervision as well mentor analyst level staff. This individual will be responsible for various aspects of portfolio management and exposure aggregation analysis. The ideal candidate would have ability to manage and complete multiple projects within a tight timeframe, excellent timekeeping and communication skills, and experience with database administration.
