The ideal candidate would be clear communicator, possess strong critical thinking skills, and be able to participate on a variety of project teams (model development, annual parameter studies, ad hoc requests). P&C insurer on the West coast is seeking two designated ACAS or student actuaries with 5 or more exams completed and 3 – 5 years of actuarial experience. The ideal individuals would have either commercial lines pricing or personal lines auto experience, expert proficiency in SQL, and predictive modeling experience.  Must possess advanced knowledge of R, Python, Excel and Visual basic. California insurance client has a great opportunity for an entry level or student actuary with 0 – 2 years of actuarial experience and at least 2 exams passed. This individual should have at least completed an actuarial internship, preferably in P&C and be familiar with R, Python, and other statistical software. Experience with SQL and predictive modeling is highly preferred.  Must be proficient in Excel & Visual basic. Tableau is a plus. (#49154)
