Pricing and Filing Actuary, P&C (New York #49020)

New York insurance company is in search for a student actuary, ACAS or FCAS with at least 7 years of experience in Actuarial Pricing, Product Management, or Predictive Analytics as well as 5 years of experience in personal lines insurance. This individual will be responsible for managing the SERFF filing process and in responding to various rate filing support requests. Excellent communication, strong analytics to drive product decisions, and advanced Microsoft Office skills are key. Experience with SAS, SQL, R, Python are a plus. Ratemaking skills preferred. Actuarial Analyst / Actuary, P&C (Illinois #49010)

P&C client in Illinois is seeking a student actuary or ACAS with 3+ years of actuarial experience and at least 3 exams completed. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years’ experience in Commercial Lines/Specialty Insurance business, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with ratemaking, cat modeling, and predictive modeling. Proficiency with Excel, programming, data manipulation, and Access, SQL or Tableau is preferred. Must be able to ask questions and get involved at all levels and aspects of the process as necessary. Casualty client in the Northeast is searching for an ACAS or FCAS with 15 years of commercial lines pricing experience and at least 5 years managing other actuaries. The ideal candidate would have a deep understanding of NCCI and Auto ratemaking methodologies, worker’s compensation, rate and loss cost filing, and large account pricing experience. This individual will be leading and managing all aspects of commercial lines rate and loss cost reviews and filings for both existing and proposed new lines of business.  Must possess exceptional communication and be able to present to executive management, clients, and brokers. New Jersey P&C insurer has a great opportunity for a highly motivated student actuary or ACAS with 4 – 5 years of actuarial experience including commercial lines pricing. This individual must have completed at least 3-5 actuarial exams, have an understanding of BOP ratemaking methodologies, and be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products. Candidate will be performing analysis of commercial lines rate reviews for both existing and proposed new lines of business involving General Liability, Commercial Auto Liability, Workers Compensation, and BOP. International Reinsurance company has a great opportunity for a student actuary, ACAS, or CAT Modeler who will represent the Americas in global projects at the forefront of technical innovation in cat risk reinsurance. Candidate should have 3- 5 years of Treaty and/or Pricing experience and relevant catastrophe modeling experience in a (Re)insurance setting. The ideal candidate would have working knowledge of catastrophe modeling applications (RMS or AIR), excellent analytical problem solving skills, and the ability to multi-task. Must have 3 to 5 Actuarial Exams passed, strong communication, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Dynamic Financial Analysis or Economic Capital Modeling experience are a plus.
