Sr. Actuarial Analyst (California #49155)

P&C insurer on the West coast is seeking two designated ACAS or student actuaries with 5 or more exams completed and 3 – 5 years of actuarial experience. The ideal individuals would have either commercial lines pricing or personal lines auto experience, expert proficiency in SQL, and predictive modeling experience.  Must possess advanced knowledge of R, Python, Excel and Visual basic. Tableau or another data visualization software is preferred. Salary $100-110K. (#49155)

Actuarial Analyst I, P&C (California #49154)

California insurance client has a great opportunity for an entry level or student actuary with 0 – 2 years of actuarial experience and at least 2 exams passed. This individual should have at least completed an actuarial internship, preferably in P&C and be familiar with R, Python, and other statistical software. Experience with SQL and predictive modeling is highly preferred.  Must be proficient in Excel & Visual basic. Tableau is a plus. (#49154)

The ideal candidate would have a passion for data and analytics, experience with Tableau, Power BI or other data visualization software, and have excellent IT skills (Excel, VBA, R) Must be able to organize data with SQL, effectively communicate with fellow associates, and build successful working relationships within the team. Predictive Analytics Analyst, P&C (New York #49128)

This role requires someone with a superior knowledge of analytical and modeling concepts and the ability to articulate model concepts and results to semi-technical business audiences. The ideal individual would possess excellent abilities in using SAS and/or R, SQL and Python to manage and explore data and to build/test predictive models. Effective communication, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently is strongly desired. Salary $80-120k (#49128)

Investment firm in the Midwest is seeking a highly quantitative Cat Modeler who can hit the ground running and can thrive in a challenging and dynamic environment. The ideal individual would have 3 – 6 years of experience including AIR and RMS, a team-player attitude, and excellent communication skills. Cat Bonds and Investment experience highly preferred. Michigan based insurer has a great opportunity for a student actuary, ACAS, or Data Scientist with 5+ years in an analytics or business intelligence setting, including experience using one or more of the following analytic tools: SAS, SQL, R, Python, SPSS. The ideal individual would have an insurance or banking background, be able to work with internal audit or an audit data analytics team, and complete advanced statistical analysis. Candidate should be familiar with dashboard design and development, IBM Cognos TM1 or PeopleSoft, and extracting/manipulating large data sets in Oracle databases. Salary $90 – 95K. (#49110)

California based property & casualty insurance carrier is searching for a Product Manager with 5 – 7 years of experience including policy/underwriting and an actuarial background. Candidate must have extensive knowledge on the insurance industry, the ability to manage large-scale, complex product development projects, and highly developed quantitative analysis. Will be managing direct reports, so strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills are required. CPCU designation preferred.(#49108)

Actuary – Predictive Modeler (Ohio #49105)

P&C client in the Midwest has a great opportunity for a designated ACAS/FCAS or Predictive Modeler with 4+ years of commercial P&C actuarial/modeling experience. The ideal individual would be proficient in data handling and model development & possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be able to develop and maintain multivariate pricing, underwriting, and other models pertaining to commercial risks. Experience with statistical tools (SAS, R, Python) and with large data sets is required. Ph.D. degree a plus. (#49105)

Growing insurance client has a great opportunity for an ACAS/FCAS with 5 years of experience, preferably in Med Mal pricing. The ideal candidate would have international pricing experience, familiarity with Alteryx, and proficiency with MS Excel and Visual Basic. Candidate must possess strong business and collaboration skills, exceptional analytical capabilities, and sound understanding of P&C actuarial techniques and standards.
