The FL Actuarial Job Market is primarily located in Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville,  Tallahasse, Boca Raton, and Miami / Fort Lauderdale.  While the Property & Casualty market is the largest in FL, Life & Health is not far behind, with a variety of Pension businesses across the state.  The majority of jobs are at the ACAS/ASA & FCAS/FSA level, however, Florida does have a strong entry level actuarial market, which continues to grow thanks to Actuarial Science programs at Florida State University, University of Florida & UCF.

In demand skills include Cat Modeling, Predictive Modeling, Programming, Ratemaking, Pricing, Reserving, ACA, Medicaid and other Health / P&C related experience.
