Tom joined D.W. Simpson Global Actuarial Recruitment in April of 2005. Prior to D.W. Simpson, Tom started ActuarialNews.org and worked as a freelance web developer for many large and small businesses, and the occasional rap star in the Atlanta area. Tom graduated from Florida State University earning a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science and minors in Computer Science, Physics and Business.

When Tom isn't working, he enjoys running in 10 and 5k races, mountain biking, fishing, 3D videography and playing the guitar. Though Tom loves playing classic Rock and Roll on his Strat, he's recently discovered classical Spanish guitar.
