Ellen joined D.W. Simpson in October of 1998. She has worked on a team with Bob Morand, Partner, since starting with the company. Ellen’s primary role as Partner is client management for the company and candidate recruitment with Bob and fellow teammate Kristyn Sakelaris. Prior to joining D.W. Simpson, Ellen worked in the retail industry.

Ellen graduated from DePaul University in 1995, earning a bachelor's degree in Music with a specialization in Flute Performance. While attending DePaul, she played in the DePaul Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble and a number of chamber groups.

Ellen moved to the Milwaukee area in 2005 (from where she hails) and currently splits her time between D.W. Simpson’s Milwaukee and Chicago offices.
